The Behavioral Counselor works as part of a multidisciplinary team working with dually diagnosed clients in a 28 day residential setting.   The Behavioral Counselor is responsible for conducting assessments, providing group and individual therapy. Typical case load size is 10-12 clients. The minimum qualifications for this position is a Bachelor’s Degree and an Ohio Licensed Social Worker or a Master’s degree and Licensed Professional Counselor. Independent license a plus. Three years of experience in Mental Health with Alcohol/Drug scope of practice is required. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (BHT) – ALL SHIFTS - full and part-time hours available
Accepting resumes and applications for this position to support our Residential Programs located at 732 Beckman Street Dayton, OH 45410.

The BHT provides client monitoring and facilitates scheduled program activities in relation to client individualized treatment plan. Performs client checks by walking the unit accounting for client presence and to ensure safety of clients and unit. Participates in unit staff meetings and other treatment team activities as assigned by the Program or Shift Coordinator. The BHT performs administrative duties such as shift reports, daily census, maintenance of unit log, and filing clinical documentation in the client record. Observes and enforces compliance of agency policies and procedures and program rules. Reports any unusual occurrences or events that deviate from standard agency operation procedures to the Shift Coordinator in a timely manner. The BHT performs/supervises household duties as deemed necessary by the Coordinator.

Minimum Education/qualifications: A high school diploma/GED. A CDCA certification within six months of hire is required. Must have a valid OH driver license and points may not exceed six. One year of experience working in the Alcohol/Drug and/or Mental Health field is preferred. CPR/FA Certification required within 30 days of hire. A TB test is required prior to working on the unit (will accept results if preformed in the past 12 months)

NURSE – LPN OR RN – PART-TIME as needed (PRN) 16-24 hrs per week
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) provides medication and physical/medical monitoring under the direction of the Nurse Manager and agency Chief Medical Officer.  The LPN or RN provides basic client care by making rounds on the unit and providing treatments such as; taking temperatures or blood pressures, and dressing wounds; measure and record clients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration; observe clients, charting and reporting changes in client' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication and taking any necessary action, administer prescribed medications and note times and amounts on clients' medication log, administer TB tests to all residents and staff as required. Set up clients’ medications on a weekly basis (med-planners) and upon client intake.

Minimum one to three years of experience and a State of Ohio License as an LPN or RN required.  CPR/FA certification within 30 days of hire is required.  A negative screen for TB is required (will accept results within the past 12 months).  Nova residential programs operate 24/7.  Rotating shifts include weekends and holidays. INTAKE SPECIALIST – Full-time - First Shift – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Nova is accepting resumes for a full-time Intake Specialist.  The Intake Specialist provides comprehensive client intake coordination for Nova Behavioral Health, Inc.  The position is responsible for receiving referrals and for coordinating the referral process through the Intake Manager.  This position reports directly to the Intake Manager.  The Intake Specialist meets with assigned clients for face-to-face interviews for the expressed purpose of intakes for the residential components assigned.  Provides direct support, treatment linkage and customer service to clients and the community, including:

Nova Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time or full time CNP or APN to provide monitoring and physical exams 20 to 40 hours per week under the direction of the Nova BH medical director. The NP/APN is responsible for providing nursing care and mental health services as agreed upon in the Standard Care Arrangement for Certified Nurse Practitioners. This position is responsible for evaluating and managing the medical issues of clients in our Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Programs. The CNP/APN will meet face-to-face with clients for examination, diagnosis, and follow-up treatment as determined by the Physician. The CNP will prescribe and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment and schedule follow-up visits in office or during inpatient stay as needed. Additionally, will confer with clients' primary care physician if necessary.

Education, Training and/or Experience:

• Preferable to have a minimum of five years of experience in primary care or the psychiatric field and a Master's degree.

• Minimum Certified Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of OH.

• The right to participate in and receive payments from the Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third party payer.

• Professional liability insurance covering all activities performed for Nova Behavioral Health will be provided.

• Must provide Proof of current TB test upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer 2 + years of experience in both Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist role as well as in prescribing psychotropic medications.
