ELECTRONIC PRACTICE BILLING SPECIALIST – FULL-TIME
Nova is accepting resumes/applications for a full-time Electronic Practice Billing Specialist position. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The Electronic Practice Billing Specialist is responsible for the timely submission of invoices for services rendered either manually or electronically from properly approved clinical documentation. Responsible for all follow-up activities (including claims corrections, resolving and re-submitting denied claims, calling, writing, etc.) in order to ensure the total amount due is received in a timely manner. The Electronic Practice Billing Specialist will collaborate with clinical managers and staff to ensure accurate service documentation and assist with resolving discrepancies as necessary. Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records of invoices for all services billed. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, skilled in data entry and fluent in medical insurance coding and terminology. Exceptional customer service skills, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
A Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of experience working with electronic payment systems/electronic health record (Nextgen) is required. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – FULL-TIME
Nova is accepting resumes for a full-time Maintenance Technician position. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance of Nova facilities. A high school diploma/GED and five years related experience is preferred. A valid Ohio Driver license with < than 6 points and travel between facilities is required. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (BHT) – ALL SHIFTS - full and part-time hours available
Accepting resumes and applications for this position to support our Residential Programs located at 732 Beckman Street Dayton, OH 45410.
The BHT provides client monitoring and facilitates scheduled program activities in relation to client individualized treatment plan. Performs client checks by walking the unit accounting for client presence and to ensure safety of clients and unit. Participates in unit staff meetings and other treatment team activities as assigned by the Program or Shift Coordinator. The BHT performs administrative duties such as shift reports, daily census, maintenance of unit log, and filing clinical documentation in the client record. Observes and enforces compliance of agency policies and procedures and program rules. Reports any unusual occurrences or events that deviate from standard agency operation procedures to the Shift Coordinator in a timely manner. The BHT performs/supervises household duties as deemed necessary by the Coordinator.
Minimum Education/qualifications: A high school diploma/GED. A CDCA certification is required for 1st and 2nd shift positions. Must have a valid OH driver license and points may not exceed six. One year of experience working in the Alcohol/Drug and/or Mental Health field is preferred. CPR/FA Certification required within 30 days of hire. A TB test is required prior to working on the unit (will accept results if preformed in the past 12 months).

NURSE – LPN OR RN – PART-TIME as needed (PRN) 16-24 hrs per week
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) provides medication and physical/medical monitoring under the direction of the Nurse Manager and agency Chief Medical Officer. The LPN or RN provides basic client care by making rounds on the unit and providing treatments such as; taking temperatures or blood pressures, and dressing wounds; measure and record clients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration; observe clients, charting and reporting changes in client' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication and taking any necessary action, administer prescribed medications and note times and amounts on clients' medication log, administer TB tests to all residents and staff as required. Set up clients’ medications on a weekly basis (med-planners) and upon client intake.
Minimum one to three years of experience and a State of Ohio License as an LPN or RN required. CPR/FA certification within 30 days of hire is required. A negative screen for TB is required (will accept results within the past 12 months). Nova residential programs operate 24/7. Rotating shifts include weekends and holidays.
