BEHAVIORAL COUNSELOR – Full-time
Nova is accepting resumes for a full-time Behavioral Counselor in the AoD Residential MAT program. The AoD Residential treatment program is located at 732 Beckman Street Dayton, OH 45410. This position reports to the Director of Residential Services. The Behavioral Counselor works as part of a multidisciplinary team in a 28 day residential setting. The Behavioral Counselor is responsible for conducting assessments, providing group and individual therapy working with a typical case size of 10-12 clients whose primary diagnosis is alcohol and/or drugs. The minimum qualifications for this position is a Bachelor’s Degree and one to three years of experience in AoD/MH. Minimum Licensure – LCDC II, or LSW or PC with AoD scope of practice. BEHAVIORAL COUNSELOR – FULL-TIME
Nova is seeking a full-time Behavioral Counselor for the Outpatient Program. The Outpatient program is located at 732 Beckman Street Dayton, OH 45410. This position reports directly to the Director of Outpatient and Support Services. The Behavioral Counselor assists in providing evidence based treatment to Outpatient clients including assessments, development of treatment plans, individual and group counseling, drug screen monitoring, report writing, and record keeping. This position will provide direct services to clients referred from a variety of referral sources. The minimum qualifications for this position is a Bachelor’s Degree and an Ohio Licensed Social Worker or a Master’s degree and Licensed Professional Counselor. Three years of experience in Mental Health with Alcohol/Drug scope of practice is required. Dual credentials in AoD and MH a plus. CPR/FA certification is also required. CNP or APN - PART-TIME OR FULL TIME
Nova Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time or full time CNP or APN to provide monitoring and physical exams 20 to 40 hours per week under the direction of the Nova BH medical director. The NP/APN is responsible for providing nursing care and mental health services as agreed upon in the Standard Care Arrangement for Certified Nurse Practitioners. This position is responsible for evaluating and managing the medical issues of clients in our Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Programs. The CNP/APN will meet face-to-face with clients for examination, diagnosis, and follow-up treatment as determined by the Physician. The CNP will prescribe and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment and schedule follow-up visits in office or during inpatient stay as needed. Additionally, will confer with clients' primary care physician if necessary.

Education, Training and/or Experience:

• Preferable to have a minimum of five years of experience in primary care or the psychiatric field and a Master's degree.

• Minimum Certified Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of OH.

• The right to participate in and receive payments from the Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third party payer.

• Professional liability insurance covering all activities performed for Nova Behavioral Health will be provided.

• Must provide Proof of current TB test upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer 2 + years of experience in both Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist role as well as in prescribing psychotropic medications.
